Cb.net adds iban2bic module to banksearchplus
London, 11 April 2005: Reference data provider CB.Net has now released IBAN2BIC - an enhanced facility to validate and link IBANs to BICs. IBAN2BIC is now an integral module of BankSearchPlus - the definitive international payments directory.
BankSearchPlus already contains over 80,000 SSIs, all BICs and national clearing code information for 72 countries. In addition, this new IBAN2BIC module validates and recognises IBANs and then links them to the correct BIC and subsequent banking information including contact details, categorised SSIs and other critical international payment data.
With more than 3,500 banks across the financial community updating their own information directly, BankSearchPlus is seen to be the most timely, reliable and accurate source of international payment data on the market. As well as the self publishing facility, CB.Net has a dedicated team updating and continuously maintaining the information straight from source, ensuring that banks using the system have "golden source" data.
