CB.Net adds SCT data to BankSearchplus and S€PA Directory

London, UK, 21 November, CB.Net a leading reference data provider today announced that the European Payments Council (EPC) SEPA Credit Transfer Adherence Register of Participants is now available in its flagship product BankSearchPlus and in The S€PA Directory service which was launched in partnership with LogicaCMG, one of Europe's leading IT and business services companies.

CB.Net was chosen by the EPC to provide and manage the centralised repository for the EPC SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT) and SEPA Direct Debit (SDD) schemes which has been referred to as the Register of Participants. The Register will provide a list of approved financial institutions that have signed the SEPA adherence agreement as stipulated by the EPC. The SCT data is now fully integrated into all BankSearchPlus products, as well as The SEPA Directory.

Clients are able to access the SEPA Adherence data through a new dedicated area in BankSearchPlus online. The dedicated area will allow searching for adherent offices as well as being able to view the full register as it officially appears.

Furthermore, the data is integrated with Settlement and Clearing Mechanism data, National Sort Codes together with payment routing covering the complete Single Euro Payments Area - to provide a complete SEPA reference data solution. Users can access the integrated solution either through BSP Online or receive a data flow which can be incorporated into their back office and payment systems.

Andrew Foulds, director of directory services, CB.Net, comments, CB.Net is delighted that the first issue of SCT data is live in BankSearchPlus and The SEPA Directory. This is another significant step toward SEPA becoming a reality. Incorporating this data and working with the EPC makes the vision of SEPA become reality. The payments' arena is changing and CB.Net is proud to be working alongside organisations such as the EPC to ensure that the common goals of SEPA are realised.
