CB.Net to showcase online reference data service at Sibos

CB.Net, a leading reference data provider, today announced its plans for Sibos, S.W.I.F.T.'s annual, global conference, taking place in Sydney, Australia, 9-13 October 2006.

At the event, CB.Net will demonstrate the CB.Net Payments Reference Data Service (PRDS) and launch its enhanced online product offerings that deliver access to the most up-to-date global payments data available in the industry today.

CB.Net's website will offer wider access to payments data in an easy-to-understand format including Bank Identification Codes (BICs), International Bank Account Numbers (IBANs) and payment channel information. The website will provide enhanced search and navigation tools and free trials of all CB.Net services. Visitors can select the products they want to trial, according to their individual requirements. It includes access to CB.Net's international payments directory BankSearchPlus, which is updated daily with Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs), BICs and national clearing codes of 4,700 banks in 217 countries worldwide.

Ian Dunning, managing director, CB.Net, comments: "This year's theme at Sibos, 'Raising Ambitions', invites the global financial community to set the agenda for the future. CB.Net working with a number of industry leaders, as well as governmental organisations to help take pain out of the increasingly complex area of international payments data management."

Dunning adds: "With the changing regulations of the Single European Payments Area (SEPA) on the horizon, the need for a single, reliable and comprehensive source of payments data has never been more crucial to the smooth running of the global banking industry. CB.Net's PRDS offers a lifeline for the realisation of these ambitions."

CB.Net's team of reference data specialists will be on hand at Sibos, stand KO7, to provide advice on reference data management and deliver live demonstrations of BankSearchPlus Online.
